Wine Studies dual-degree program
Program Description
In this dual degree program between Ecole Superieure D’Agriculture and ÃÛѨÊÓƵ, students will enter an integrated undergraduate and graduate degree that will provide language courses and cultural and professional experiences at all stages. At the end of this program, ÃÛѨÊÓƵ students will receive a bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Wine Studies from ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and a Master of Science in Vine, Wine and Terroir Management from Ecole Superieure D’Agriculture.
Admission Criteria to Double-Degree Program:
- Students must complete the equivalent of 6 semesters at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ before departing for ESA.
- Transfer students must have studied at least 3 semesters at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ to meet the residency requirements.
- Students must have a minimum of 90 credits on the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ campus before departing for ESA.
- ÃÛѨÊÓƵ requires a total of 125 credits to graduate with a bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in English
- If a ÃÛѨÊÓƵ student is not a native English speaker, they must have at least a CEFR B2 level as determined by ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s English Language and Culture Program.
Details of Attending:
- Students will spend 3 years (6 semesters) at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and 2 years (4 semesters) at ESA or any university involved in the consortium managed by ESA.
- 7th semester: (First semester) at Université de Trás-os-Montes et Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugal
- Students will take a minimum of 30 ECTS.
- 8th semester: (Second semester) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza, Italy
- Students will take a minimum of 30 ECTS.
- 9th semester: ESA, Angers (France)
- Students will take a minimum of 30 ECTS.
- 10th semester: Co-supervised end-of-study internship (in France or another country)
- Students will take a minimum of 30 ECTS.
- The language of instruction may change according to the chosen country.
- 7th semester: (First semester) at Université de Trás-os-Montes et Alto Douro, Vila Real, Portugal
- Except for the 10th semester, the language of instruction is English.
- European languages are integrated and supported in the Master's program, allowing students the opportunity to acquire more linguistic competencies.
- Hosting language courses are available, either as required in the 7th and 8th semesters (Italian or Portuguese) or as optional in the 9th semester (French).
- To obtain the master’s degree delivered by ESA, students must successfully acquire 120 ECTS in semesters 7, 8, 9 and 10.
