Business double degree program

Program Description

In this double-degree program between Nürtingen-Geislingen University (NGU) and ÃÛѨÊÓƵ, students will experience a deeper dive into experiencing multicultural studying and business environments, better cross-cultural communication and language skills, a wider professional partner network, new opportunities for further education and stronger competitive advantages in job markets worldwide. At the end of this program, ÃÛѨÊÓƵ students will receive a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in management or marketing from ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in international management from NGU.

Admission Criteria to Double-Degree Program:

  • Students must complete the equivalent of 7 semesters at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ before departing for NGU.
    • Transfer students must have studied at least 3 semesters at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ to meet the residency requirements.
  • Strong academic standing is required to study abroad at NGU in the student’s 8th semester

the campus in Germany.

MBA in International Management Admission Criteria:

  • Proof of degree from ÃÛѨÊÓƵ.
  • Work experience:
    • Students may participate in an internship during their 8th semester in Germany to gain this experience.
  • Proficiency in German:
    • Students must have a minimum of A1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
      • Link to CEFR A1 proficiency:
      • Students can enroll in online courses or take lessons from another university over the summer.
  • Proficiency in English:
    • If a ÃÛѨÊÓƵ student is not a native English speaker they must have at least a CEFR B2 level as determined by ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s English Language and Culture Program.

Details of Attending:

  • This double-degree agreement is an extension of the existing exchange program between NGU and ÃÛѨÊÓƵ.
  • Students must be majoring in management or marketing at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ to qualify.
  • To obtain the MBA in international management:
    • Students must fulfill all requirements including the Master Thesis as established by NGU.
    • Students must also complete their Double Degree studies (90 ECTS credits) during their time at NGU.
    • double-degree students will have access to all facilities and student services (career services, student health) provided by NGU and ÃÛѨÊÓƵ, including assistance in finding housing.
    • The language of instruction for all courses at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and NGU is English.

  • Housing – Paid to NGU

Semester 9,10,11:

  • Housing – Paid to NGU
