Licensure Disclosures

ÃÛѨÊÓƵ prepares students for success in a wide variety of fields. For information about jobs that ÃÛѨÊÓƵ students may pursue with our degrees, explore our program finder for the major/certificate in which you are interested.

Not all fields require professional licensure. The following list represents the programs ÃÛѨÊÓƵ offers that can reasonably be expected to lead to a professional license. These programs have been developed to meet state licensure requirements.

Professional field of accounting

  • Degree or certification: Bachelor of Science (BS) in accounting; post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting
  • Additional information: School of Business
  • Oregon licensing body:
  • Licensing requirements: ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's accounting programs meet the curricular requirements as set out by the Board of Accountancy in these states. Click the link for additional requirements (such as total number of credit hours, hours of work experience, testing requirements, etc.).

Professional field of education

  • Degree or certification: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in education: preschool and elementary; preschool, elementary and middle school; middle school and high school

  • Oregon licensing body:

Professional field of nursing

  • Degree or certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Entry Into Professional Nursing (MSN)
  • Oregon licensing body: 
  • Licensing requirements: ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's BSN and prelicensure MSN programs meet the state educational requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oregon, Washington, California, Hawaii, Idaho, and Alaska. ÃÛѨÊÓƵ has not determined whether the program meets the RN licensure requirements for other states, but can work with students applying for licensure in unlisted states.
