ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's Wine Lecture Series is supported by the Marka and Thomas Hughes Endowed Wine Lectureship Fund, providing for wine-themed lectures, panel sessions, roundtable discussions and films that feature speakers and filmmakers from Oregon and around the world.

The Future of the Wine Industry with Amanda Wittstrom Higgins
Amanda Wittstrom Higgins, founder and principal of Full Cup Solutions and Dream Big Darling, joined the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Center for Wine Education for a discussion about the future of the wine industry. Higgins shared her path as a young professional pushing for change in a traditional environment and why she's committed to amplifying new voices in the wine space.

Open House and Conversation with Sandra Taylor The Oregon Wine History Archives and the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Center for Wine Education presented an open house and conversation with Sandra Taylor. Guests toured the wine archives at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ followed by a conversation with Sandra Taylor, author, columnist and expert in sustainable certification of wine and coffee.

Women & Wine: A Black Woman’s Story A guest panel of Black women winemakers including Chevonne Ball of Dirty Radish wine tours, Justin Trabue, assistant winemaker at Lumen Wines and Eunice Chiweshe Goldstein of Eunice Chiweshe Goldstein Winery. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in honor of Black brilliance in wine as part of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's Black History Month celebration. Moderated by Dr. Jennifer Madden, dean of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s School of Business.

Black & Wine: A Black Man’s Journey to Wine Bertony Faustin of Abbey Creek Vineyard and Marcus Johnson of FLO Wines discussed the industry in light of recent events, individual winery projects and how they came to the world of wine. This event is co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in honor of Black brilliance in wine as part of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's Black History Month celebration. Moderated by Dr. Jennifer Madden, dean of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s School of Business.

A Conversation with Jancis Robinson MW Jancis Robinson, one of the world’s leading wine writers, joins the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Center for Wine Education for a special virtual conversation on all things wine. Robinson was voted the world’s most influential wine critics in polls in the U.S., France and internationally in 2018. She writes daily for and weekly for the Financial Times. She is the founder-editor of The Oxford Companion to Wine, co-author with Hugh Johnson of The World Atlas of Wine and co-author of Wine Grapes. Each of these books is recognized as a standard reference worldwide.
