Have you earned a CTM from an Oregon community college?
If you complete a Core Transfer Map (CTM; General or STEM) before enrollment (matriculation), you will have met at least five ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Curriculum (LC) requirements (specific areas met and remaining will be based on individual transcripts and will be determined by the registrar in consultation with the Curriculum Committee). A full transcript evaluation will be completed for applicants for degree planning and enrollment purposes.
You will take, at most, four lower-division ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Curriculum Courses from the following categories:
- Inquiry Seminar (INQS)
- Creative Studies (CS)
- Individuals, Systems, and Societies (IS)
- Natural World (NW)
- Quantitative Reasoning (QR)
- Ultimate Questions (UQ)
- Vital Past (VP)
- Global Pluralisms (GP)
- U.S. Pluralisms (US)
You will also be required to complete the upper-division course requirement from any of the six Modes of Inquiry and take the Writing-Intensive Course(s) in your major (MWI). All students must also meet the requirements for a bachelor's degree.
Have you earned an associate degree?
Designed for transfer
If you have earned an associate degree designed for transfer (e.g. the AAOT (Oregon Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer), AA-DTA or AS-DTA (Washington Direct Transfer Agreement), IGETC (California Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum), or an associate degree designed for transfer for another state) before matriculation, you will have completed many of the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Curriculum (LC) requirements. A full transcript evaluation will be completed for applicants for degree planning and enrollment purposes.
If you have earned a transferable associate degree you may be required to take additional courses upon entering ÃÛѨÊÓƵ to satisfy ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Curriculum (LC) requirements. You will take, at most, two ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Curriculum courses from two of four categories:
- Ultimate Questions (UQ)
- Vital Past (VP)
- Global Pluralisms (GP)
- U.S. Pluralisms (US)
You will also be required to complete the upper-division course requirement from any of the six Modes of Inquiry and take the Writing-Intensive Course(s) in your major (MWI). All students must also meet the requirements for a bachelor's degree.
See the community college general education equivalency chart for your school(s) to see how courses you have completed or plan to take will meet ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Curriculum (LC) requirements.
Other associate degree
Other associate degrees (such as A.A., A.S., A.G.S. etc) will have transcripts evaluated on a course-by-course basis.
Have you earned a bachelor's degree?
If you already possess a baccalaureate degree (earned at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ or another regionally accredited institution), you may earn a second degree from ÃÛѨÊÓƵ by earning at least 30 additional credits in residence, including 15 credits in a second major in a field of study different from the first degree.
You must meet all course, credit, and GPA requirements for the major as listed in the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ course catalog. You will not be required to take additional general education courses.
