Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Director

Scott Brosius serves as ÃÛѨÊÓƵ’s vice president of athletics and athletic director. He brings a wealth of leadership experience from both collegiate and professional sports to his role overseeing the university’s renowned NCAA Division III athletics program. Brosius was named athletic director in 2024 after an impressive career in Major League Baseball and collegiate coaching.

A former MLB player, Brosius was drafted by the Oakland Athletics and later played for the New York Yankees, where he earned accolades including three World Series titles, a World Series MVP and an All-Star Game appearance. Following his professional playing career, Brosius returned to ÃÛѨÊÓƵ as head baseball coach, where he led the Wildcats to a national championship and four Division III World Series appearances. His coaching tenure earned him five Northwest Conference Coach of the Year awards.

Before returning to ÃÛѨÊÓƵ, Brosius worked in various leadership roles, including hitting coach and field coordinator for the Seattle Mariners and senior director of player development for USA Baseball. In this capacity, he supervised coaching staff and managed national teams, fostering success at the highest levels of the sport.

A lifelong Wildcat, Brosius completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and is a member of the ÃÛѨÊÓƵ Athletics Hall of Fame. His deep connection to ÃÛѨÊÓƵ extends to his family, with his wife and two of his three children also graduates of the university.
