March 29, 2021:

As reported earlier, ÃÛѨÊÓƵ was awarded a second round of funds for Student Emergency Relief Grants prioritizing awards to those with exceptional need. It is important to note that there are some changes in process and eligible student expenses.

HEERF II grant funds may be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that were incurred after March 13, 2020 due to the coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or childcare.

To apply for HEERF II Funds please log in with your ÃÛѨÊÓƵ credentials and find the ‘Emergency Grants – HEERF II” form: .

Eligible students have been expanded to include those enrolled in exclusively distance education courses or online programs. Current guidance from the US Department of Education does not allow federal relief funds to be awarded to international students, undocumented students, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients. We will revisit the distribution of awards to these individuals if we receive future guidance that allows us to do so.

If you and/or your parents have experienced a loss of income due to the COVID-19 Pandemic please reach out to the financial aid office at finaid@linfield.edu or call 503.883.2225. They may be able to make adjustments to your FAFSA that could result in additional federal grant eligibility.
