For example, if 100 students enter and 80 students graduate within 4 years, 90 students graduate within 5 years, and 100 students graduate within 6 years, the graduation rates are 80%, 90%, and 100% respectively. The time frame specified does not necessarily reflect continuous enrollment. For example, a student who entered in the fall of 2019 and graduated in 2014 (5 years) may have taken a semester or a year away from school during that time.
