Randy has been teaching economics at ÃÛѨÊÓƵ since 1993. His primary areas of teaching and research involve the Economics of Sports, the History of Economic Thought and Macroeconomics. Randy is a co-author of two textbooks, "The Economics of Intercollegiate Sports," 2e (with John Leadley and Zenon Zygmont) and "The Evolution of Economic Thought," 8e (with Stan Brue) and has co-authored journal articles on sports economics and other topics. He regularly takes students abroad to study the Economics of English Football (soccer).
When not in the classroom or at his keyboard, Randy is an avid runner, having completed running a marathon in all 50 states. He lives in McMinnville with his wife Susie and their dogs, Balin and Augi. The pups enjoy meeting and getting attention from students, so if you see them on campus, feel free to say hello.
