More than twenty years ago, Mary became a registered nurse and gradually attained her MSN-ED from Western Governors University. Her background includes a diverse bedside career as a Pediatric Float Pool Nurse floating to Pediatric Medical, Pediatric Surgical, Pediatric Hematology, and Oncology, Pediatric Intermediate Care and NICU. She also has extensive experience in women’s health, high-risk postpartum, fetal monitoring and some experience in labor.
Finally, Mary did act as nurse manager for an assisted living facility, providing care for Alzheimer’s and dementia residents. The next progression in her career led to being a clinical adjunct with ÃÛѨÊÓƵ and now an Assistant Professor of Nursing!
