I am a Certified Nurse Midwife who has been working in women's health since 2003. My clinical experiences extend from various practice settings (home birth to regional medical centers), contrasting community settings (Amish to Military), and diverse populations (LGBTQIA and neurodiverse). I am a United States Army veteran. I am always excited to learn new things, teach in different styles, and bring awareness to complex issues.

Education

  • A.S. in Nursing, Cecil College
  • B.S. in Nursing, University of Delaware
  • M.S. in Nurse-Midwifery, Frontier Nursing University
  • Presently enrolled in Ph.D. in Nursing Science, Texas Woman's University

Academic interests

My academic interests are the utilization of patient actors in simulation training experiences, applying unique communities issues to routine nursing practice, and exploring alternative scenarios to deepen understanding of intricate health problems. My research interests include female reproductive issues, LGBTQIA equality, and neurodiverse equity.
